For +10 Secondary Students All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE)
1. After admission in Class XI, students get registered with CBSE in the month of August / September.
2. In Class XII students do Form Fill-up for the CBSE Board Examination in the month of August / September by paying fees as fixed by the board.
3. CBSE conducts Class XII Board Examination in Practical Subjects during January / February. Practical Examinations are conducted in the same school.
4. CBSE conducts Class XII Board Examination in Theory Papers during March at a center decided by CBSE, may be in the same locality or out station.
5. Class XII Board Examination Result is declared in the month of May / June.
For Class XI students, CBSE conducts Problem Solving Assessment (PSA) Test in the month of January / February. A Class XI student can improve his/her PSA scores by appearing the same examination in next year. Appearance in PSA is compulsory for Class XI Students. CBSE awards Certificate of PSA
1. In Class IX, students get Registered with CBSE in the month of August / September.
2. In Class X students do Form Fill-up for the CBSE Board Examination in the month of August / September by paying fees as fixed by the board.
3.CBSE conducts the SA – 1 (Midterm) & SA – 2 (Year End) Examinations both for the Class IX and X.
4. For Class IX students, CBSE conducts Problem Solving Assessment (PSA) Test in the month of January / February. The PSA marks are reflected as FA – 4 marks in Class IX and Class X. A Class X student can improve his/her PSA scores by appearing the same examination. Appearance in PSA is compulsory for Class IX Students.
5. A student has two options for appearing X Board Examination.
i. Scheme – 1 (School Conducted Examination)
ii. Scheme – 2 (Board Conducted Examination
6. After Class X SA – 2 Examination, CBSE declares the result in the month of May / June.
7. CBSE issues Class X Result Certificate, which reflects both Class IX & X scholastic and co-scholastic overall performances (in grades and grade points).
After Class X SA – 2 Examination, CBSE also conducts following two examinations. These are optional and have no relation to Class X performance assessment or admission in +2.Optional Proficiency Test (OPT), to measure his/her learning standard at national level. Student’s Global Aptitude Index (SGAI) to determine his/her aptitude and worthiness for a particular stream he/she wishes to opt after +10.
