Co-Scholastic Assessment

Assessment of Co-scholastic Activities will be graded on a 5 point grading scale (A to E). There will be no descriptive indicators or up-scaling grades. The grading will be awarded by the concerned teachers on the basis of continuous observations.

Promotion Criteria: –

  1. In the Annual / Board Examination, a student must secure 33% in minimum (equal to 27 marks out of 80) in each subject.
  2. In periodic assessments, the student must secure minimum of 33% in each subject.
  3. At the end of the year, the student must have 75% of attendance in minimum.
  4. It is compulsory in part of the student to appear all the examinations, as the weightage for the final result is based on both PTs & Annual.
  5. If the student fails in one or more subjects, his / her result will be declared as withheld. He / She has to appear improvement Examination/s in the failed subject/s, which will be conducted within 30 days. In the improvement Examinations, he/she has to secure minimum 33%, i.e. 27 marks out of 80 in each subject. In case, if he/ she fails to get pass marks, CBSE board rule will be applicable.
  6. A student must secure minimum “C” grade in the co-scholastic assessment.
