GPS provides integrated inhouse coaching to the students of class-XI and Class-XII for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN)
Coaching is given in the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Coaching classes are conducted from Monday to Friday. Saturday is typically reserved for conduction of tests.
The classes are conducted for 3 hours in the evening with two session for two subjects of 1½ hours each.
The pedagogy involves teaching of concepts for one hour followed by Q & A session for 30 minutes.
To make students be ready for the real national level entrance examinations GPS has both offline and online system of examination used on a regular basis for conducting mock tests.
2 types of tests are conducted both for the NEET and JEE stream – Minor tests (Monthly tests based on monthly syllabus) and Major tests (Test conducted twice a year based on cumulative syllabus).
The online tests platform is equipped with the latest technology and helps the students to be acquainted with the computer-based test which are a norm for the online tests now a days.
Each student is given with a Student ID and a username and password to access the online exam portal. The same Student ID is also used for the OMR based offline exams.
The offline mode of test is OMR based and to avoid errors OMR sheets are processed automatically using software.
For students in standard XI, the tests are conducted once every month both for the NEET and JEE.
For students of class XII, two tests are conducted for every month. One of the tests is based on class-XII syllabus while the other is based on class-XI syllabus.
Students can access detailed report on their performance like the score in each section, time spent per section and per question, etc.
Students also have access to a library dedicated to the students preparing for the competitive exams, equipped with a variety of latest edition competitive books and magazine.
Regular one to one student/parent interactions are carried on making sure we understand students’difficulty and help them to overcome it.
